Hours of the Day (by Server)

Given that our servers are not in the same “designated” time zones, we were interested to see whether this meant there were different peaks depending on the server time. Note that our census bot performs the snapshot independently for Alliance and Horde, so the “average server population” listed in the graphs below is roughly half of the true server population.

The graph shows that while there are server differences in population, the pattern in population distribution over hours of the day is largely the same. This implies that the peak server time is 7pm PST for many of the servers regardless of their originally designated time zone.
